lenovo tab2 a10 miracast connectivity

I am trying to connect a lenovo tab2 A10 tablet to a Microsoft wireless display adapter which both are miracast capable but the tab2 will not see the adapter. Am I out of luck or am I doing something wrong? I am pulling down the settings and clicking "cast screen" and it says no device located.
Can anyone tell me how to do it?

Thanks for the response. It would appear that it won't work with the tab2, under display the is no wireless display option,
