Lenovo ThinkPad not turning on. Help?

Heya. I have a Lenovo ThinkPad E550. It doesn't turn on anymore after I shut it down. The red light circle on the i of ThinkPad is lit though. Does anyone know what to do?

If the red dot is lit, it is probably on/suspended. Sometimes laptops get stuck in suspend mode. Pull the battery, unplug AC power, and wait about a minute for it to completely lose power (the red dot should turn off). Then replace the battery and plug it back into AC, and try turning it on again.

It only lights if I press the power button. It also blinks.

Try removing the CMOS battery and leave it out for at least two minutes, then put it back.

You may want to take this opportunity to replace the battery with a new one instead of just putting old one back.
