Question Lenovo Thinkpad W530 Battery Wear Level at 98%

Hi! I have a Lenovo Thinkpad W530 and the battery wear level is at 98% and the laptop even turns off if the charger isn't plugged but the battery shows no sign of physical damage nor does it seem to be swollen, it literally looks like new

The Battery is a 70++ 9 cell Battery

That model laptop is older, replace the battery. A battery does not need to look damaged to wear out and stop working.

Lithium Ion batteries will "wear out" after several hundred charge cycles. They do not look any different on the outside when this happens. Time for a new battery I suspect. I have seen a lot of crappy non-OEM replacement batteries. Buy it from Lenovo if you can. Amazon is a crap shoot when it comes to batteries.
