Lenovo Y500 comparison to GTX660TI

I am thinking of buying this for my son:
Lenovo IdeaPad Y500 i7 3630QM, Dual GT750m SLI, 16GB RAM, 1TB HDD, 15.6" 1080p

With 2 X GT750M I am wondering if anyone knows how it will compare running games like Battlefield 3 compared to a desktop with 6 core AMD, 8 GB ram, and a single 660 TI card
My son wants to ensure it will run as fast as his cousins PC.

A GT750 is closes to a GTX670m

The mobile GTX670 is 2 levels below the 660 ti desktop. So 2 gt750 should be close to the 660 ti if not better in games that support SLI.

But the desktop can be upgraded at anytime.
