Lenovo y510p boot problem

Hello,

I just got a Lenovo y510, and it just doesn't boot. It asks me for the date and time, and then nothing happens. No matter what I press, or how many times I do it, the computer doesn't boot.

If you just got it, take it back or call Lenovo.

EDIT: I just saw your picture. Looks like Windows isn't installed. That's a DOS prompt. What output do you get if you type in the command "dir"?

That laptop is booted just fine. It boots into the installed OS, in this case, FreeDOS.

I'm thinking you didn't get a Windows installation included in your purchase.

Thanks all. It turns out I didn't have windows installed, which was my first guess also but I just wanted to be sure before I messed with it.
