Lenovo Y510p (i5 version) vs Lenovo Z510p (i7)

I have short listed two laptops from lenovo.

y510p has i5-4200m and geforce gt 755m (DDR5)
and
Z510p has i7-4702mq and geforce gt 740m. (DDR3)

Please suggest which will give better gaming performance and overall overall performance.

i5 + GT 755M will outperform the second laptop in games . i have i3 2350M and it s fast enough for everyday usage . So , i5 4200M will do well .

Either of the two laptops will give you a good gameplay on HD resolution .

Edit : Are you sure that the GPUs are GT 755M and GT 740M ?

thank you for ur answer rockie and Yes i am sure gpus are 755m and 740m.

Will the combination of i7+740m not out perform i5+755m?? Although I get it that 755m in better than 740m and for gaming purpose gpu is more imp.

Also many games like BF4 make good use multi cores, so wouldnt i7 in Z510 is a good option.??
