I'm looking to buy one of the Lenovo legion y520 laptops and I can't decide between the 1050 ti or the 1060 3gb for the price difference? They both have 8gb ram and the i5-7300hq I can't afford the i7 1060.

This is the 1050 ti list (starting price $779):
Processor Intel Core i5-7300HQ (6MB Cache, up to 3.50 GHz)
Operating System Windows 10 Home 64
Memory 8GB PC4-19200 DDR4-2400 (1 SODIMM)
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4G
Display Type 15.6" FHD (1920x1080) LED Backlit, IPS, Anti-Glare display (Slim)
Hard Drive 1TB Hard Disk Drive, 5400rpm, 2.5", SATA3
Optical Drive None

The 1060 3gb (starting price $999) Processor Intel Core i5-7300HQ (2.5Ghz 6MB)
Operating System Windows 10 Home 64
Memory 8GB DDR4-2400 (1 SODIMM)
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB GDDR5
Display Type 15.6" FHD (1920x1080) LED Backlit, IPS, Anti-Glare display
Hard Drive 1TB Hard Disk Drive, 5400rpm, 2.5", SATA3
Optical Drive None

Now you can upgrade these 2 above but there is an i7 with the 1050 ti that's also cheaper then the 1060 i5 would that be a better? I want to be in about a week and I can't decide what's the better deal I don't want to spend more then 800 was my original plan and I have a 100 off coupon making the 1060 i5 900 and the i5 1050 ti 700 is the 200 really worth it? but the i7 1050 ti is starting 849 so 750 with coupon better then both? It's for the Lenovo website

Looking at UserBenchmark (though I would not base it completely on it because other hardware and cooling and things like that aren't the same as the other people who do those benchmarks) there's around a 70 percent increase in performance. I also personally would go for the 1060 3gb but if anyone knows better than me feel free to correct me.

Also I'll say I don't notice if it's a max-q 1060 or not. I've seen in some places that could make a difference too right? But it would be worth a 70 percent increase to me if that is true but Im just not sure because I've seen people go back and forth on the fact it's 3gb vs the 1050 being 4gb. I really just want the best for my money as I'm sure anyone does.

Edit: I'd also like to add that I can add an ssd and more ram and such to the i5 1050 ti and still be around the same price as the 1060 so could that effect performance?
