Which one should I get for gaming and multimedia/multitasking purposes and why?

I'm mainly looking for a stable gameplay experience (mid-high settings) and endurance to handle multiple (sometimes heavy) tasks at once

The ASUS will have slightly better CPU performance with its IB processor. There will not be a big difference between them, especially since you can customize.

I recommend you "customize" both to the settings you want, then get the cheaper one.

Do you recommend installing the IC DIamond Thermal Compound or is it just a waste of a 35$?

I dont live in the US that's why I'll be ordering it

XoticPC.com - They have the option to customize the laptop

ExCaliberPC.com - Cheapest shipping cost I found so far but without customization

BHPhotoVideo.com - Only site I found so far that accepts credit card payment internationally
