Question Lenovo Yoga 260 - lights up for a second, then won't turn on

Lights up for a second then won't turn on - the ac power light stays on and the red light near think pad stays on. I have already tried hard reset, with and without AC adaptor along with holding power button on for 30 secs, but nothing. I left it over night on charge and it started this morning and said it had boot issues. I restarted it and tried to backup data and then it crashed with a grey screen and now not running again (same symptoms).

disconnect the battery and try using it with the AC adapter only

Tried that, but no success. Removed the 256g solid state HD and connected it another computer with windows 7, it found the drive. Ran a system check that found and corrected bad sectors, recovered files from HD, however, when put HD back into laptop it was working again. Will monitor how it goes over the next bit, but thinking will replace the HD.

update the BIOS of the Lenovo

update the firmware of the SSD if available

check the SSD with the manufacturer´s tool box

check the RAM with the usb autoinstaller from memtest.org
