Question Lenovo yoga 700 will not charge.

The laptop will not charge. Usually, when the laptop is charging, there is an amber light on the side of the unit that is lit when the charger is plugged in. Now when I plug in the charger, there is not light. I have changed the charger, the battery and the laptops charging port. Still nothing. I know the laptop powers up cause it powered up when I put the new battery in it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The new battery, was it OEM or aftermarket? And the other charger you tried, was it the same exact charger, or a different one?

It was an aftermarket. Different charger but made for the specific model.

If the charger itself is getting power, then it may be the batter. Not all aftermarket ones work well. I would try returning that one and get an OEM one.

Should that not even work, then the problem may be the charging circuit.

I changed out the charging circuit. I am wondering if it is the motherboard that could've taken a crap. The original charger was replaced no too long ago.
