Its hard to say. The website you linked isn't the greatest, and the Lenovo doesn't show many stats. However, looking at Lenovo's website and comparing their models to the Asus, I'd probably pick the Asus. The fact that it has a discrete GPU means (for me,) that it's an automatic winner.

However, the price on the Lenovo is crazy expensive for what you're getting. I'm not sure how VAT works for you, but I'd look at some others, such as the Asus N550JV, or the lenovo y510pY510P.

Thanks for the reply

We seem to be getting ripped off in the uk. The lenovo y510p and the asus you mentioned cost around £1000, $1600. Id like something comparable to the y510p but around £800ish but im struggling to find anything

Thanks again

Among the 2 choices, ASUS certainly gives more value for money, as Integrated Graphics in the Lenovo aren't meant for gaming at all. GT745M is much better.

However, from the same website, for some more money, you could get one with GTX 660M, which is much powerful than GT745M in gaming and also a better processor Core i5 3210M.
