LG and Google TV Tuner

Anybody have any luck activating the digital tuner in an LG Google TV, specifically the 50GA6400. Seems Google and LG decided to not migrate them all to ANdroid TV and left all the Google TV owners high and dry with a TV that will not do anything like OTA TV using the coax input.

If the RF input isn't compatible with digital OVA channels (you did run a scan after connecting the antenna?) you could connect an external tuner to the TV with HDMI. A digital converter box may be for old non HD TVs so you have to get one with HDMI. Some have PVR functions. Some have multiple tuners like the Channel Master. The TIVO Bolt is expensive but very flexible. There are also some Android boxes that can be used with a USB tuner.
