So just bought a used LG BP 350 blu ray to watch tv shows or movies from usb port/key.

We get a NETWORK POP UP error message telling us no internet connections. First I dont need it (internet). Tried to disable it or whatever I thought would require internet.
Short story there seems to be no way of getting rid of that pop up message while anything is playing. We cant see the image anymore just the error message but hear everything in the back as the movie still keep on going. Quite annoying.
In order to get rid of it....We tried over a dozen time to auto connect and each time entering our password. it never stays connected for long if itworks or it doesnt work. We entered oour ip manually and doesnt work.
how can we get rid of that message pop up that stops us from watching anything. Computers cells and tablets are connected FINE. Just that damn blu ray wont work. Can I disable it. looked and read the owner manual and no luck.

Try this. Using this manual:

https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/bluray-player-menu-settings-bluray--1430840635759

Set the BD LIVE selection to prohibited.

(Prohibited - All BD Live content is blocked from accessing the internet.)

It is already selected. doesnt change the fact that the message still appears every minutes or so. Gotta get rid of the network not connected error.
Understood. In the "others" section, there is an initialize entry. I assume this will reset the device to its default state. Have you tried doing that?
