LG Electronics 55LF6300 vs LG LF6100

After a ton of research I have come to choose between the Lg 6300 and 6100 but I have hit a crossroad. The two TVs are almost exactly the same except in contrast and motion blur; the 6100 has better Contrast but loses in the motion blur. The reason this makes choosing a difficult choose is because I constantly play video games like FIFA, NHL, Fallout, etc, and watch soccer, football, and soccer. Though I also watch regular cable programs and Netflix. Hopefully you guys can help me decided.

I would gladly take a little bit less contrast to avoid motion blur.

According to rting.com the 6300 has a contrast rating of 5.7 where as the 6100 has a 9.3. I suggest you find a place to go view those exact models in person. Then decide.

unfortunately I was unable to find a provider who had either tv in stock so after a long time thinking I'm going to go with the lf6100 after this last question. Can I update its smart OS?

I have no clue. But if I was to guess, if the manufacturer were to put out an update for that display, yes. Otherwise probably not.
