LG needs to be cycled to start, capacitor?

Hello All!

I have an 42"LG Model 42PG20-ua

The TV won't start with just a button push, I need to turn it on and it shuts off, I turn it on and it shuts off, over and over, maybe 4-6 times before it will stay on.

I researched a little on the internet and figured it had to be a capcitor. Going with this, I took the back off and saw a burnt black metalized capacitor blown out on the right on the Z-SUS board(I DL'd the service manual). My question is should I order the capacitor or is the whole board shot? If I need to replace the board where do I buy it? If I can just solder in a new capacitor where can I get one seems everyone out there wants to sell a thousand of them and don't have time for just one. Pics Below. Thanks in advance guys!

It says 105K 250H on it you can't read it well in the pic.

If there is a relay on the board that the schematic shows is related to the burned cap then I would replace the cap. Try eBay, or mouser.com
If not then I would replace the board. Try shopjimmy.com or just google the board number and replacement.

how did it work for you? i have the same issue with my tv and the repair shop advised it would cost over $300 for just the part and that the part was on back order for over a year?

I am having the same problem with my LG 37LE5500 it takes about 5 cycles of on/off then it works fine.
Could it be the Power Supply board or the Main Control board?
I hope somebody can help with the right answer

This is an old post but I figured I'd finish it for solidarity. I've fixed a few of these since and Its almost always a few bad capacitors on the power board look for bulging or seeping capacitors and replace them first I replaced 2 small caps on my dads power supply board and it works like new again.
