LG optimus 3D SD card Issue

so i bought a new LG P920 Optimus 3D, but when i inserted my 8gbSDHC class 4 memory card it isn;t being detected in the handset. itried formatting it to FAT32,exFAT and also NTFS but still doens;t recognise it. the memory card work fine in other phones, nokia 5800 blackberry 8520 and also detects and operated in my card reader. if any one knows of a solution it would be much appriciated 🙂 P.S. phone is updated to Gingerbread 2.3.5

try inerting the card first and then once restating the mobile. if problem persists try factory resetting the mobile(take backup before you do that!)
