Lg powered sub to edifier 1850

Is it possible to hook the powered sub from my old lg jd10-sa to my new Edifier 1850s that have a dedicated 3.5mm port for a sub woofer?

Without the main unit you would have to figure out how to get it to turn on. That might require a voltage to be applied or a two contacts shorted.
