This is a phone I got a few months ago after an insurance claim. I did crack it a bit, and afterwards it turned off at night a couple times and I needed to take the battery out so it would turn on again.
This morning I woke up and it hadn't turned off, but the settings had restored. My contacts were gone, alarm clocks gone, accounts and permissions were reset. Everything but the files in storage, texts and apps.
The only new thing I've done recently is use the file sharing feature to transfer music in and out of my phone.
What should I do to prevent this again? Because I know it can't be reversed. Or should I do another insurance claim at Best Buy?
