LG VX4400 Battery

Anyone have the problem of a red blinking light on the desktop charger
for the LG VX4400 phone from Verizon? I tried to re-seat the charger a
few times with no luck. Phone indicates it is charging, but is not;
actually seems to discharge the battery...Any help appreciated.

Many of the LG desktop chargers eventually do that. I think they're poorly
engineered.

Sometimes wiggling the phone helps and wedging a pencil or matchbook in the
back between the battery and the charger makes a better connection.

I've seen this on my VX4400 charging base. Use a soft pencil eraser and
clean both the charger and phone contacts.
