Hello.

Equipment:
Logitech x-230 2.1 Speakers
Apex LD4088 40" HDTV

I am hoping to use these external speakers for audio on the TV for all inputs. I have a computer which these speakers currently connect to (via headphone jack) but ideally I'd like to leave it out of the equation. I want to connect the speakers directly to the TV.

I tried plugging the Logitech's 3.5 jack into the "PC in" on the TV, but that did not seem to do anything.

Here is what the back panel has:
3 HDMI
PC in: VGA & Audio
Component 1 YPbPr
Component 2 YPbPr
AV 1 V, L, R
AV 2 V, L, R
SPDIF
S-Video ("Use AV 1 for Audio")

Is this possible? What do I need?

Note: I'm obviously a complete noob when it comes to home audio, so links to specific products/cables that I need would be extremely helpful. :hello:

Thanks!

Hello. I have a Sharp 47" HDTV that has an extra set of Audio L and R. Will it work with a Colby or Frisby 5.1 speaker system? Or, any PC speaker with a subwoofer and two speakers 20w * 2 ?

Could you message back if you can help me before I buy the speakers?

Thank You
