Logitech Z5500 + Logitech Z906 problem?!

Hello,

So I've had Z5500 for 8-9 years and they are still outstanding speakers, but yesterday I bought Z906 and AUX splitter, so I could have both systems connected to my PC. The problem is like the PC doesnt have enough power, don't know how else to describe it. At low volume they play normal, but when I raise the volume the subwoofers dont play anymore, if I mute one system the other starts to play normal and vice versa. They are all connected through AUX to AUX splitter, would it maybe help if I had one the systems connected through digital optical cable and another by aux? Anybody maybe knows how to solve this problem? Because I'm desperate :c

Might be possible with a sound card or external dac sound card running via usb thats got the extra power.

Given both speakers are powered i would have thought this would work.

How have you wired it exactly? Id imagine with 3x Y split 3.5mm jacks from green, black and yellow?

Forgot to add the trouble with running optical and analogue is you can only have one or the other enabled at a time.

what about 2x optical and an optical splitter?

Something like this might work for example. This is a 3 out but splitters with 2 should be available.
