Longer 3.5mm audio plug?

I purchased an android box with great specs.

I got it and everything works great except for the av audio. I hook up to my tv with hdmi for everyday use and use the av audio for connecting to Mt Turtle Beach X32's for nighttime watching so I don't disturb my wife. Problem is with this box, the audio through the av plug is only coming out of one side. I contacted the seller and explained this to them and said that there is a problem with the box. They said that there isn't a problem with the box, that they use an 18mm plug. For the life of me I cannot find a longer plug. Am I nuts or am I correct that the box is bad? They sent me a picture of a cable with two different length plugs, but I cannot find one. Do they exist?

It's the same length, 15mm. I was told I need one with a length of 18mm.

That longer plug does seem to exist

but I don't know if that helps any since they aren't standard on anything I know of.
You might try not inserting the plug all the way into the jack.
