Look for soundbar advice

I have a Sony Bdv e190 hts ,surround sound speakers not working can I replace with a soundbar, and how do you connect the soundbar if you can and can I leave sub woofer of hts connected with the soundbar to replace surround speakers

You can't combine the subwoofer from the Sony with a soundbar. Even if the soundbar has a subwoofer output it won't be powered. You would have to add an amp to drive the sub. Cheaper to just get a soundbar with it's own subwoofer.
