I have been looking for an upgrade from my logitech G430s. My primary focus is a more comfortable headset without the cackle that I get through these every now and then. Wireless would be nice, but is no where near as important as my other requirements. I am an avid gamer, so positional audio is very important. Also, I am new to all of this so someone explaining how the positional audio on the game one black versus virtual 7.1 would also be very helpful. I have been considering the Sennheiser Game One Black and getting a sound card later down the road, but am looking for other suggestions. My budget is anywhere less than $200. I also would prefer the headset to have a mic at least as good as my logitech g430s.

I have the PC 363 version of their headsets. It comes with an in-line converter to 7.1. In terms of comfort, they are probably the most comfortable pair of headsets I've ever worn. They have never cause me discomfort. My only problem is that the tip of my left ear bumps against the inside of the cup, but that's probably just a personal problem as that's always an issue for me. They are also the only ones I see Sennheiser openly advertising at being 7.1. Either way if you go with them, you can be assured that comfort will be there.
