Looking for 17" gaming/art laptop

1. What is your budget?
Max of about $2000

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
17 inch

3. What screen resolution do you want?
At least 1080p but higher resolution preferred for working on digital art

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
It will be sitting on my desk most of the time but I would at least like to be able to fit it in my backpack and take it on occasional trips

5. How much battery life do you need?
A couple hours, won't be away from an outlet much

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
I will be wanting to play pretty demanding games on it, and would like to play on high settings when possible but don't mind playing on medium settings if I need to

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Will be doing digital art, animation, and some photo editing, also a possibility of some 3D modeling

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
At least 1 Tb

No particular site in mind yet, but they are have a good reputation for reliable products

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop? I'd like it to last as long as possible, the last laptop I had I used for 4 years

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
No optical drive needed

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
I need a company with a good track record for reliability and relatively good customer service, esp when it comes to fixing hardware, I can figure most software issues out on my own

USA

I will be doing a lot of visual work such as art and animation in addition to gaming, so good color accuracy is a must

My favorite site for higher end laptops is www.xoticpc.com. In your price range you will have a lot of systems to browse, there should be listing on there for the screen RGB accuracy.
