Looking for a 2.1 Speaker System

Hi,
I am looking to supplement my new laptop with a good 2.1 speaker system. I'm on a tight budget and hence have about $50 to spare(that is what I have left after I splurged on my new HP DV6T).

I primarily listen to classic rock and heavy metal with occasion Hip-hop and Rap tracks(when my friends crash in my house during the weekends). So I am looking for a very balanced sound with emphasis on bass, mids and high. Please suggest me a good speaker system that delivers power sound without distortion.

Any suggestion is highly appreciated. Thanks.

I just shortlisted a few 2.1 speaker systems :
1. Creative A220/T3130
2. Logitech Z323/Z313
3. Altec Lansing VS2621
4. Edifier M1380/M1360
5. Cyber Acoustics CA3602

Anything good among these ? If not please tell what else is good ?
