Looking for a gaming laptop under $1000 that will play modern games on medium settings

I'm looking to buying a gaming laptop, preferably around the $1000 mark, with the ability to play most games on a medium quality at least. Games such as COH2, BF3 or 4, lol, SC2, Cod Series, etc. In all honesty, I know little on the matter of what it is I should be looking into to run current games so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I was wondering whether this would possibly be the way to go or not? again any advice is appreciated, thanks in advance!

Whatever. Just get an Alienware laptop. The rest out there are utter garbage. Alienware delivers. It delivers. Max Pain.

You do know that Alienware is owned by Dell right?

And I have a Lenovo and it's by far the best laptop I've ever had.
