Hi guys,
I am looking for a non 4k pure gaming laptop(I travel a lot so a desktop is ruled out)and I had a few doubts :

1) Should I go for 120 hz 1080p or qhd 60 hz (both gsync)?
2) Is it an overkill to go for 1070 sli for 1080p?

The minimum 120 hz rate 1080p laptop I saw was GT73vr with gtx1070(no SLI).Only Sager NP9872/s with 1070 Sli with 120 Hz comes under my budget. Which do you think is a better option.(Battery not an issue).Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Solution
1) I would choose qhd 60hz
2)Yes, i would say so. You could even say that 1070 is more of a 1440p card so one 1070 is sufficient for 1080p gaming. Besides i would go with 1 powerful card rather than 2 in SLI config.

what about MSI GT73VR Titan Gaming Laptop bro(single gtx 1070)?Also is 60hz refresh rate with gsync good for gaming?I thought 120 hz was better suited for gaming purposes.

Well, the one I suggested does have 16 gigs more ram and a better SSD but the one you suggested has great looks and equally awesome specifications. If you do care about performance more and 2500$ isn't a problem for you, then go for my one. If you care about looks and don't want super performance and trying to save some money, then go for MSI GT73VR Titan.
Up to you now. If I helped, please choose my answer as best solution.

Sorry if I sound unconvinced Ali because I am shelling a good fortune on this. I honestly feel that 32 Gb ram is overkill where 16 Gb should suffice for now. I have 2 questions thats all :
1) Should I go for 120 hz 1080p or qhd 60 hz (both gsync)?
2) Is it an overkill to go for 1070 sli for 1080p?
Depending on them I wanna make my decision bro.Hope you understand that. Please don't think I am being rude (Its a lot of money being invested just wanna make sure it suits my needs thats all bro)

No problem if I didn't solve your problem.

1) 120 hertz is just slightly smoother but QHD 60 hertz has better quality but the difference of "smoothness" in both is low it wouldn't really be noticeable so go for QHD 60 hertz.

2)GTX 1070 as starscream said is already a 1440P card so going for SLI isn't a bad choice as you could even go up to 4k with the SLI.

I bought Msi GT73vr 6re notebook for 2200 us$ off amazon and i'm loving in. It is my 1st laptop/notebook though also but it really is built very welBit heavy but I don't mind that with specs like it has.
