ANy particular reason you need a laptop?
If you have the core its not going to be mobile anyway, and you're locked in the 60FPS range for gaming.
You'll end up spending more on the core and a discrete card than a normal PC rig and a workstation laptop!

Well i was told by my parents that i dont need to build mt own pc so i decided to save for a laptop that i can game on and do work on. I plan to hook up the laptop to a benq monitor with hdmi.

What's the reasoning behind this "You don't need to build your own PC" thing?
Is it that they don't trust you to build it?
You get much better value in desktop form, and you can get a place to assemble it for you cheap anyway.
I can get a place to put together a custom PC for you and send you the link.
What is your budget all up?

Wait, wait, so you ALREADY have a PC, but your family uses it?
It is likely a workstation anyway.
What are the specs?
Just build another one for gaming and personal use instead of a laptop?
It'll be much better value.
Ask your parents how much you can spend.
