Looking for a new laptop

I'm looking for a laptop to take to university for programming/video editing/photo editing(Photoshop)/3D Rendering (Blender) and an amazing display for watching movies/YouTube videos

my budget is 2,400$

Is it for heavy duty, like running long time, big programs and large material? I will suggest a pc in dorm/apt instead. Laptop is not for such usage, will age quickly due to overheating.
