Looking for an affordable laptop for college usage

Hey there! Okay, so i'm going off to college soon and I need a good computer that I can trust to function smoothly for at least my four years of uni. However, I don't have that much money to spend. I'm looking for something around $400, or less if possible. So far my brother who knows much more about this has helped me round it down to these three:

I honestly know absolutely nothing about computers but basically I need something that a. will facilitate keeping in touch with my family/friends since I will be studying abroad so this is absolutely vital b. will allow me to have multiple tabs open without lagging (i'm a mega procrastinator and tend to have up to 10 tabs open at a time, music playing in one, something loading in another) c. a nice amount of storage that will allow me to store all my uni work+ music/pictures d. something that won't be a huge pain to carry around e. battery life please and lastly i'd just like for it to work smoothly and will not cause me annoyance.

Of the three that I have listed which would be best or are any of you aware of any better offers? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Thank you all so much! ^_^

anything with >= 4GB System Memory, 320GB =< Storage at 5400rpm/7200rpm, 720p webcam, an integrated microphone and 6cells ion battery should be well enough for your needs
