Looking for audio help

Im looking to buy some speakers for my room, but i don't what to look for when shopping for speekers. i would like them to have good base and sound overall. would also like to have a remote for them so i can change it form a distence... if anyone know of a good audio setup please help me out.... thanks

Hmm perhaps hit a beefy amp and a 2.0 set up? I'd look into floorstanders for a 2.0 that has relatively decent bass
