I will be using it to play League of Legends (hopefully 60+ FPS), watch/stream HD video, browse the internet, type documents, edit videos, and probably every combination of those things (multitasking).

In order to achieve these aims, I have decided that the laptop needs at least (starting from most important):
intel core i7-4700MQ
Nvidia GT750M (preferred) or better, maybe 740M or AMD equivalent
1080p resolution preferred
14"-17" screen
RAM and hard drive don't really matter, chances are a computer with the above specs probably have 8 GB/1 TB.
SSD for OS is nice but probably too expensive and yall can teach me how to buy my own for cheaper and replace it

Normally a laptop this good would cost well over 1 grand, but I'm trying to find one of those deals that would get me one for under $900, like $700-$850. Unfortunately they're kind of rare, black friday level rare (and most computer sales tend to focus on cheap laptops meant for light use).

I've been following slickdeals.net and this site's daily deals for a while, but nothing fitting my criteria has come up so far. Does anyone else know any other sites on which people share good computer deals? I know one will eventually turn up but I'd like to have a laptop by late August.

Sorry, none of these are affordable. I'd like to add that I've already been on the websites of major manufacturers like lenovo, hp, dell and nothing is really good unless there is a special coupon available, like the current best one I saw on slickdeals.net: 14" 1600x900 lenovo y410p with i7-4700mq and 750m, 1 tb hdd/24 gb ssd for $850.

I'm waiting for something better.

this looks very good! I upgraded the screen to 1080 and the graphics to 740M and it comes out at $782. if there was an option to have 750m i would buy it right now.

Technically not, but the very next day (when i was gonna order it) they increased the price and said to inquiries that it was a pricing error on their website. If i ordered before they did that they would have had to honor it though.
