Looking for hd700 amp

Hi, my name is Lars. i'm looking at getting the sennheiser hd700, but i have problems finding a suitable amp for a reasonable price. first off i want to ask if the CS4398 DAC/amp which is already on my motherboard (ROS Maximus VII Formula) is good enough for this headset, if not what would you suggest instead? (i would prefer a desktop amp)
I'm looking to become an audiophile as i'm currently using the biggest mistake of my life (beats pro).

If you're looking strictly for an amp, I'd recommend the Little Dot MKIII. It is an entry-level tube amplifier that has no issue driving the HD700s.

I am aware of people who don't like tube amps. Personnel choice i guess.
So Listen to a tube amp once before jumping in.
Secondly, IMHO a tube amp is not that convenient to carry around.

HD700s have about 150ohm impedance. A little amp power would definitely help. Here are a couple you can explore.

Any specific reason you are exploring only headphones on your journey towards becoming an audiophile?
