looking for laptop support

I am the student of computer science and i have HP ELITEBOOK 850 G1 . The internal hard is 128 SSD which is not enough . i want to add a HDD hard drive with this . My question is , should i use it externally or make it internal . please guide me with a logical answer . Thankyou

External would be the easiest, just plug in the USB drive, and it should be just fine if the laptop is desk-bound. Internal if it has a empty slot to do so, consult manual, and obviously for potability and you don't have to take yet, another thing with u.
