My wife was given an old Intuos 4 by a friend in her photography club, but she couldn't get used to it, so it has just sat on her shelf for probably over five years.

However, I now have the need to help our grandson with his math studies, and I think that, by using the Intuos 4, along with Skype, it would be possible, since my grandson lives too far away for me to work with him face-to-face on a regular basis.

The tablet's stylus seems to work for the most part, but it behaves oddly, none of the buttons in the stylus work, none of the buttons on the tablet, itself, light up, and I can't seem to do some of the things that I saw on YouTube and elsewhere. I think that the problem is the fact that I don't have the software that you have to download from Wacom, after you register the tablet. When I went to Wacom's website and typed in the key which is printed on the tablet's installation disk and tried to download the software bundle, I got a message, saying the software download for that tablet had already been used. That makes sense, of course, since it was obviously downloaded by my wife's photography club friend who gave the tablet to her, but it leaves me stuck with a tablet that I can't really use. I have never seen a company that wouldn't allow users to download their software.

I have no idea what, exactly, the software bundle consists of, but I don't need any fancy applications that might be included. I just need to use the tablet as a 'bare-bones' way to write and draw, in order to tutor.

Is there any way that I can get this software, so I can use the tablet to help my grandson?
