Looking for solid new work laptop that isn't terrible for gaming

Boss says he'll help me upgrade from my 4-year-old Lenovo T430 to something much newer. I definitely can't ask for a full-fledged gaming laptop. However, his initial offer was a MacBook Pro, so anything Windows-based of comparable price that is decent for gaming should be fine. I'd prefer Intel chips, SSD, >13" screen, and <5 lbs. if possible since I take it everywhere. Any suggestions and reviews are welcome. Thank you!
