I have a Dell XPS 17 which gets extremely hot (up to 90 degrees) and is noisy. This is because of the poor cooling design on Dell's part - I've cleaned it and changed thermal compound numerous times.

I wish to replace it with something I can actually put on my lap while watching anime or browsing the web in bed.

I'm looking for something slim, light, quiet, cheap, 10-15 inches big. Budget ~£200. Mustn't choke while browsing or viewing videos.

Thanks for the response. Had a look at the Asus-X553MA but the pink puts me off. Somehow the non-pink versions of it are dual-core rather than quad, which is sad.

I would appreciate more recommendations so I can make a better decision in the end.

A tablet might be a tad small. I wouldn't mind one, frankly. I just need it to watch stuff while falling asleep. It needs to have a stand though as I would hate holding it in my hands. Maybe a convertible tab. I'd be happy if you have suggestions.
