hello good ppl. i hv a Thinkpad E530 machine, running on Win 10. Some time after reboot the external drive is lost. Have done the following: checked the available drivers (were updated). deleted all the usb drivers, removed the battery and later rebooted. hv unchecked the usb power management boxes. i did not mess with Regedit. Not familiar enough. any suggestions please? thank you. tomy

additional info: usb mouse has no problem, only the external drive disappears. Have bought a new one (SSD) but it also "disappears")
