Lost an icon/shortcut on phone's home screen

I lost the 'voicemail' icon on the home screen of my Samsung Galaxy Prevail phone (possibly moved it to the trash?). It was not a shortcut to an app - so, no app to go to in the master file and create a shortcut. Looking for ideas on how to get the 'voicemail' icon/shortcut back on my home screen.....Thanks

Press and hold empty spot on your screen.
Select shortcut.
Select contact.
Select Voicemail from your phonebook.
