lost contact files when factory reset phone

had to factory reset the phone uh cut the buttons to backup and restore all files in applications but when the phone set all the contacts restore how do I find them how do I get them back on my cell phone numbers contacts

Unless you saved them elsewhere, they are gone for good. Do you have a backup on your computer (for example)?
