Lost Remote roku 3500 purple streaming stick

I can't connect my roku because I've lost the remote and can't figure out how to get it into set up mode so I can connect to my wireless internet. I pushed the reset button so making a hotspot with my phone with same SSID is not an option. Any ideas?

Get a replacement remote or replace the device, they are pretty cheap used.
