Solved! M11x Speaker question

Hello,

I was just wondering if you guys hear the sound coming out from the left side speaker more than the right side? I think one of my speakers might have blown, I don't really hear direct sound out of the right side.

Have you checked the sound balance options under the sound properties? Perhaps it was messed up somehow and the left side is putting out a bit more. If that is correct, you can always try a different equalizer setting to see if that helps at all.

Ah should have thought to play around with those, looks like the speaker isn't directly where the vent is on the right side, but if I shift the balance so that the left side speaker is off the right one is loud and clear, so all is well.

It can be a bit troublesome sometimes with smaller laptops/netbooks, as like you mentioned there is a serious lack of space for the speakers to put sound out correctly. Glad it isn't a blown speaker!
