Macbook Air is not powering on after charging with 60W charger

My Macbook Air supports 45W power adapter. But I lost it. So I brought a third party 60W power adapter as I found somewhere in apple forum that you can use 60W charger in Macbook Air. But after charging with that adapter my Macbook is not powering on. Whats wrong?

Its not only about wattage... You couldve killed your battery pack due to too much voltage

Its not only about wattage... You couldve killed your battery pack due to too much voltage

The 85W adapter is 16.5/18.5 volts and the 45w adapter is a 14.5 volt adapter.
and 3'rd parties do make 20V to 25V ones. What you did is either killed battery or whole mobo.
one of the reasons to hate macbook. Nobody else make this kind of shit.
