Mad Catz F.R.E.Q 4D Headset wont work with pc

The headset uses a USB cable and when i plug it into my PC nothing comes up for drivers or anything. Does anyone have any idea of how to use them? If followed the instructions that came with them. The USB does work, I'm sure of that as I was using it before i put my Headset in.

Have updated Win? and changed your sound output to the headphones as primary

Check the Mad Catz website. You should be able to download the drivers from there: http/madcatz.com/downloads/ Just put in your OS and Product (F.R.E.Q. 4)

Sorry to gravedig, but that site has no drivers for the FREQ 4D. I'm having this same issue and having absolutely no luck fixing it.

As far as I know, there aren't any official mad catz drivers for the 4Ds, its just a generic USB audio driver that Windows automatically acquires. I own a pair which worked as soon as I plugged them in.

On a related note, I have mine plugged in via USB but for some reason when I switch between the headphones and my monitor's speakers in the windows sound options (I'm on win 10 btw), it keeps cutting out the sound to one side of the headphones. It will eventually come back after time, or after a restart, but not always.

If anyone else is having this issue and have any tips as to how to fix it I'd be very grateful.
