Magic Stick Question

I got a Magic Stick and can't get it to work. Do I still need a digital converter?

If so, digital converter for what? What are you trying to do/watch/stream?

I don't have cable and just want to pick up some basic channels like NBC, FOX, etc. on my tv.

With it connected, have you entered your TV's menu and tuned the channels yet?

If you have a modern HDTV, it should have a digital tuner built-in. If an old tube type, you like need a digital converter.

It's a new tv and I did a channel scan and nothing picked up.

Do you have the input set to antenna and not cable? What make/model is your TV?

Also, how far away (estimate) are you from local broadcasters?
