magical jelly been hijacked IE 11

although it said it would not install new stuff without permission - it did. Added AVG secure search and don't know what else.

Now IE cannot find Yahoo or google- when I enter www.yahoo.com- a tab comes up that just says "new tab".

I removed AVG - but cant figure out what else needs to be changed, any suggestions appreciated.

You may just need to reset your desired default home page in Options, as well as the default search engine.
