[citation][nom]maigo[/nom]this is why wide screen is stupid. great for movies, but no webpages aren 1600 wide[/citation]

I guess that is all you use your machine for, personally I find widescreen better for games, and if you only have a single monitor it is a god-send for tiling (e.g. comparing files / folders)

[citation][nom]nebun[/nom]are you high? tabs are cool if you really know how to take advantage of them, you must be very old or very stupid[/citation]
Way to skip right to the personal insults.

I agree that tabs are more annoying then useful. i have a 26inch screen, even being the multitasking whore like i am its pretty hard to fill the taskbar.

Screen real estate for web browsing is not an issue if you use a vertical (Portrait) screen. I use a dual screen setup; a standard horizontal screen for video and similar "landscape" applications, and a second vertical screen for web browsing. Give it a try, web surfing benefits from a tall screen! Software tweaks no required...

I stopped using firefox when i met chrome, i love the minimalist interface. Now might have to take a look back again.
Good work

I've always wish they would have done this with firefox. Chrome is great and all, but I always happen to find little problems with it (maybe it's because I'm using the Dev Version). The only appeal Chrome really has is that the tabs take the place of the titlebar. Maybe it's a little harder to move the window, but it a small price to pay for having less crap in your way.

[citation][nom]lifelesspoet[/nom]i liked it better the first time, when it was called chrome.[/citation]

Uhh....if anything, its Opera.

[citation][nom]cjl[/nom]I never understood the point of this kind of minimalism. I have 1200 pixels of vertical space. I prefer to have a real set of menus and control buttons up there in addition to a full width tab bar.[/citation]

Yeah, well, seems 16:9 is cheaper to make than 16:10. So, we get deluged in 'FullHD' 1920x1080 stuff but 1920x1200 isn't getting cheap.
