Is it possible to have both Malwarebytes and windows defender on and working at the same time? If so, how? If not, which one?

Solution
FYI:

Very much the same for other AV applications.

Two AV programs running at the same time can be problematic.

I had the same problem and found out by going to Malwarebytes Forum they fixed the solution. I now can run both at the same time.

I noticed that Windows 10 has an anti-malware service running already, so it would not have a hit on your CPU. Malwarebytes blocked a bunch of malicious websites for me. So far so good. Don't install hacked software and it will probably work sufficiently.

I have Windows Defender and Malwarebytes running together on Windows 10 with no problems at all.

I also have (Must be without real time protection) Adaware a very light programme and so long as Adaware real time protection is shut of, I have no problems - I even have the pop up blocket which works with Chrome.

Defender won't catch hardly anything , but the Premium Malwarebytes Real Time Protection is very good.

I disable Defender , it's not as bad as it use to be but not needed with Malwarebytes.
