he doesn't deserve that wealth, how's this possible, his company is producing nothing but he is taking a lot of money.

More than a "lol, noob" can't be said on that topic.

FB has yet to generate money, I don't even want to know how much they invested in it.

When the bubble bursts...

Doesn't matter, live like a billionaire while the good times last, when the bubble bursts simply live life as a lowly multi-millionaire.

This is a bit misleading, the wealth attributed to Zukerburg whilst impressive is down to the stocks he owns in the company that runs Facebook (like most of the guys on this list) but IMO the value the stockmarket attributes to Facebook is massively overpriced.

If Zukerburg is worth $17.5 billion you would think Facebook would have revenues and profits to match buts that simply not the case. Facebook turns over a impressive $2 billion a year but last year its profits were $335 million, that's good but not Microsoft, Google, Apple good. To put it another way Zukerburg is worth $17.5 billion in paper money only although I'm sure he could call it day tomorrow and have enough money to never work another day in he's life again.

Zuckerberg is one of these people who would cash out and sell the company for $100 billion, about 25 minutes before the bubble burst.
Then he would buy IBM & Google.
Then retire.
On an island populated entirely by topless Balinese dancing girls.
And poop on a solid diamond toilet.

This tells me one thing, because Google is much larger then Facebook, and has more revenue streams, it means Zuckerberg is playing himself a hell of allot more the the google founders do.

This also means that facebook isn't good value for money when compared to google for anyone putting money into it.

Paying himself rather, why doesn't tomsguide have an edit button in its forum like tomshardware does.

For anyone who doesn't understand how Facebook make money, it's the same situation has 99% of Googles income. Adverts on a website that generates billions of hits.

You can be a real billionaire, like Gates (MSFT actually makes products that sell), or you can be a paper billionaire, like Z-berg. Not to mention the huge difference in character.

Yeah, he doesn't need to play with himself. With that kind of money he can have them topless Balinese dancing girls do it for him.

How much would Google and its owners be worth if it didn't spend/give so much money outside of ventures that directly impact its revenue? Seriously, how much money have they invested in alternative energy projects, environmental grant competitions, and all kinds of other philanthropic stuff...

Does Mark or Facebook do ANYTHING for ANYONE else but themselves? The only things I have heard about are commitments to do or give in the future, money that they don't actually have. He only gave money to the Newark school system right before he knew he was going to get bad publicity from the Social Network movie...
